Actually, the most popular anime in France are Naruto and Full Metal Alchimist, and Card Captor Sakura is liked by many little girls
But the manga and anime's culture in France is really high. Most part of the youngs are buying mangas and animes, from the 80's like modern ones.
The actual favourite series are : Love Hina, Fruits Basket, Escaflowne, Trigun, GTO and the manga Nana (and the series quoted at the top).
And there's many series at TV too (but the list is too long :p )

I don't know "the wheel of time" but I wanna tried to find info about this ^^
i like Anne Rice too. I find she writes well but I don't really like vampire's stories so I prefer her other book ^^

Many people reading my nickname Seridwen but you must read it Keridwen (with a "w" like in "with"). It's the name of a celtic goddess (and there's many sort to write it like : Cerridwen, Keridwenn....) But the way I choose to write it is my favorite. The problem is that some people don't know how to read it :'(

my parents are like her parents (especially my mother) so I don't think there's anything to do because she don"t want understand anything (adults are sometimes stupid). You could always see your friend at school. You could maybe speak with your own mother and asks her to do something like speaking with this person (if she could understand your problem) Adults like speaking together and what "children" say is just shit =_=

The illuminati is not such a old group. I think they really exists like a secret group but what they believe is a sort of "hoax" like OracleAgnel saids. The origin from the group is from my country (near from where I live). It's a place of legends and secrets. But people here are saying that the rumor came just from a journalist who was looking for celebrity. But some people believed the story and create the illuminati. I think it's the more credible version of this story ^^

(It's a bit like the Necronomicon from Lovecraft. A fake old document writing by a fantasist ^^ and many people who believe it's true)

Maburaho is fun. The design is good and I have good time to watch it but the style is a bit classic (a looser loved by many beautiful girls, etc).

In France, for the whole 80's, the TV diffused many many anime by Go Nagai, Akira Toriyama and so many other mangaka ! So many of us are now big fans of anime and manga ^^

i continue to interest me in anime and manga, but not too much to the old. Now I have my own money so I buy manga and anime every month ^^ It brings me fantasy, happiness and sometimes sadness (when the characters are sad I'm sad too lol). It's very good time to read some manga and I really prefer that than watching TV ^^

Kagemusha (by Kurosawa) or
Lord of the Rings (but more for the book than for the movie, the adaptation was not too bad).
Tuesday I'm going to watch a new japanese movie. The name is The Taste of Tea, I wanna say if it was a good movie if you want ^^

Ad relationships with someone who's really older than you must be hard, not especially because of the others mind but you are not from the same "time", your minds must be very different about things and there's few chance that you wait from the life the same things than her.
I think it's really better that you try to find a girlfriend with an age near than yours (a bit older if you want but not too much lol)
